I just finished knitting a scarf that I made as a gift for someone. It was a long time after I had my hands on, on knitting. May be after 6 years or so, I don't remember exactly anyways but yeah, after a very long gap. Well, my first knitting project for scarf so far. I had to face a major problem for this. The scarf began to curl on the edges. OMG! It was horrible. It was already 5 or 6 inches long and I had no idea how it can be undone. Well, found a solution at last and I could go on with my project without returning back. That was quite a relief! I will post the details later in another post. For now, here is the scarf that I've made.
Well, this includes knitting, crocheting around the edge and also on the hanging part of the scarf. I made a loop to make a tie-down kind of scarf. Also I put some beads on bangs. I think it looks cute. What's your opinion on this?

I know that it's every girls' problem. One cracked eye shadow can mess up your whole make up kit; and then your bag, your drawer, or just everywhere you put that thing on. I just had to deal with such one. I used to have a whole messy bag because of it. Whenever I tried to put any of the eye shadows, my fingers would get so messy and end up staining it everywhere. Though I knew I could fix it, I was really lazy regarding the steps and things needed. You know like alcohol, something to press them with and again you smash it with something and blah blah.. Well, had to do it anyways..
The lazy me wanted to try without smashing in into the powder. And voila! it was all good in few minutes. So, THE CONCLUSION-
1. JUST SPRAY SOME ALCOHOL(but don't make it too damp) AND
2. PRESS IT FOR ALMOST 30 SECONDS WITH A BALL OF TISSUE THAT IS THE SHAPE OF YOUR EYESHADOW (well, or just your FINGERS!).
YOUR EYESHADOW IS READY AFTER AN HOUR OR SO. As simple as that!!
I'm a kind of person who loves to wear something around the wrist, and wanted to make something for my own since long. Eventually, I saw the tutorial of a crochet bracelet and tried to make it right away. I already knew how to crochet, and all I needed was a crochet lace yarn and a needed for it. And there it came; a simple, yet pretty bracelet!
Tools: A crochet needle. (I used no.7 as it is the only one I have right now.)
Materials: A black crochet lace yarn. (I doubled the strings to give it a bolder look.)
A button for the clasp
Few beads
Process:
Follow the link for a detailed tutorial. The beads part is my own addition. Simply put a bead on each crochet point. Push the bead downward so that it won't look that shabby; plus, it also gives a nice petal effect.

Pinterest! How do u find it gals? Wonderland- isn't it? For me, yes!
Well I was just going through pinterest and this idea suddenly stuck my mind as what I want to do 3 years from now. Of course not that big ideas, but those small wants and desires you've always accumulated within, or should I say, accumulated in Pinterest! No wonder pinterest has given us, or say at least most like me, a wing to fly on and dream on. And no wonder my pinterest is like a dreamland for me. With years and years passing I've assembled so much pins and I hope those are not just going in vain. They are there because I've planned things as such. Some desires, some wants, some experiments! Thank you pinterest for giving these! And well now, out of my pinterest list I'm just sorting out my most desirables that I want to achieve 3 years from now. Hope it matches with you people as well.
My dream home!
D.I.Y.s! and lots and lots of it!
A tattoo preferably on my shoulders or neck area
A vacation to an island
I want to wear a sexy gown
Want all of these.. $$$! :P
Going short!
I'm here referring to cutting my hair short. This is a dare to do thing for me as I'm not that kind of person that could look good in just anything. Having a small face I often fear whatever I'm going to do to my hair would be so unflattering.
Beach photo shoot like a model.. ;>
Wow! I so fancy it. I mean like going to a beautiful island and wearing those soft toned lacy dresses and getting your photo taken. Isn't it every girls fantasy? Yea, you don't have to have looks like a model but just a little bit of confidence and a good photographer is enough I guess. :P
Kiss in the pouring rain...hmm going high!
It should be with the love of my life though. Every time I think about this one my heart starts to pound and flutter and all those stuffs. Isn't is simply wow guys? On that note, kissing under water also seem to be quite an adventure, isn't it?
When I look back to this post 3 years later, hope I have had fulfilled most of them.

Whether you don't want to spend bucks in an expensive phone case rather than a plain one, or your present case is going through its late phase ;), you can simply give it a new look that's unique and stylish and can be called your own.
Here's what you need and how to do it.
What you need-
A phone case of course (old or simple, or both)
A nail polish or two
How to do-
Simply paint the phone case on the outside. You may need to do two coats.
For mine, I painted 2 coats of pink and then finally 1 coat of shimmery silver. And tadaah! the look it gave was quite appreciative. It felt like i got a new case with almost no cost.

D.I.Y.- I was encountered to this word some years ago but did not know that it was already viral over the internet. I used to create stuffs before as well but only the word was new to me then. DIYs are always so fun to do. What's exciting is that you can create your own new stuffs out of something else; can change an old and discarded piece of dress to a new fashionable one; tie scraps and wires together to make creative ornaments; invoke a unique piece of furniture out of a chucked out wood. Wow!The imaginations are just endless. They are D.I.Y.s. C'mon people bring the creativity outside. Play with it!
When I think about it now, I feel that I was more creative as a child. At those times there was no such things as surfing DIYs over the internet or any supplies; but still I used to keep doing things as I liked. I liked to sew and make tiny little things for my doll, even made a doll house with compartments, personal bed for my doll LOLz... I even remember making paper dolls with multiple outfits through paper and changing them time and again for my paper dolly. I remember making paper doll was a bit of a fashion in our class back then when I was about 8 or 9 years old.
Those were the days and these are the days now. Though I surf hundreds of DIYs over the internet, I can't make time to make them. Or should I say I've grown much lazy over these years.
Better said than done, I'll soon upload some of my old DIYs. Oh.. I'm excited already!

Learning a language doesn't only mean for a private tuition class and devoting your whole time into that single thing. It's a gradual process and in the long-run you will feel good about what you've achieved, like me! :D
I want to share my story related to the same subject here. Well, one of my friend happened to join a Language School for German Language and she also approached me to come along. As it was a morning class, I too wanted to give it a go, thinking it will give 'the lazy bird- ME'', a reason to catch the early worm. :P However I did not have much interest over German, so, I opted for a Korean Language class instead. Reasons were that- I already liked the language with those vast amount of time I invested in watching Korean movies and dramas. I gave it a try, studied it for 2 years and graduated! Well again, I had to take up another language class for Japanese to shift with my husband in Japan. This one happened in a bit hassle so I had to take private tuition classes. Yes, when you study more that one language at a time, you end of scratching your head and get confused all over. Nevertheless, there was no regret whatsoever. I always feel good when I think that I know a vast choices of Language. ;)
1. Its actually fun!
The process of learning a new language is exciting, first of all. If you are in a place where there are people of different countries, then it adds up a little fun in speaking the languages you've learned. Plus, interacting with different people enriches your friend circle as well.
2. Adds up value to your resume
Adding some extra language beside your native language also adds value to your resume. Well, say if you have same qualities compared to others in a same job candidacy then only your one extra language can grab your the job. Isn't this a bonus?
3. Broadens the employment opportunities
As we can see, there are numerous job opportunities for a person with an extra language quality such as Translator, or Teacher for foreign language, Travel Guide. It widens your job search ar
ea.
4. That can be your code language
It's always fun to have a code language. That code language could be anything of your own. I remember my Aunts using language of their own that was very hard to understand or should say, a bit tricky. A foreign language can be used instead. It helps when you want to have conversation that you don't want the third person to understand. But of course, provided that the second person also knows the language.
5. Provides study abroad opportunities
I guess most of the countries has this opportunity; like, when you take up a certain language and excel in the same you get to graduate in language from that very same country. Don't you think this is a 'go-getter'. Well, I too tried my hands on this one but, its shameful that I lacked behind. ;) Leaning language is interesting; but a bit hard isn't it? :P
Well, why not start to learn a new language from today. It just requires a bit to your manageable time. And I bet it costs a way too little than what you will achieve. Join a language college, or if not, there are tones of classes over the internet. They won't even cost you, bingo!
I am a bit lazy kind of personal to keep a journal for each passing day. But there are times when I really want to write, and when I write, I write it long.. ;)
Those are the times when I feel angry, or frustrated that I sit to write down to keep my all frustrations out. But as you see it, keeping happy moments saved in a diary seems much better, right?
Yes, and today was such a time. These are these special moments, not a long one. Though short, it helped to make an impact. At this particular time, when I'm going through such a rough phase (sorry, no description though) in my life, this small hint of joy definitely managed to light up my mood.
There was this thing when I was talking to a friend. I was really feeling good to talk after a long time and about the things we were talking about I suddenly said that I just wanted to cry. 'Why?' was the obvious question but actually I too did not know what the answer was. Then that friend suddenly popped the below text to me:
"Tears roll down, not because you've lost the race; but because you've won the race you were about to loose;
Tears roll down, not because someone stops caring for you; but because someone restarts to care for you after a long silence;
Tears roll down, not because someone doesn't love you; but because someone loves you so much that you don't know if you can reflect the same.
...and these are the tears, so genuine and so precious...!"
Yes, this was a short line that I wrote a couple of years back, and that also made its way to my facebook wall, liked by many but a long-forgotten one. When it suddenly got exposed to me today, it felt so good. I was reading one of my creation and that also in such a situation it fitted so much. Actually I'm not that poem kind of person but sometimes, like, once in a blue moon I do write, you know it, when sentiments get stuck in your mind and all. Anyways, it really felt good to read it after so long. The poem felt so true to me, I was proud of myself. Happy Happy!! :D
