Who doesn't want a clear and beautiful skin, everyone does! Having clean skin doesn't come easily. You have to give your time, effort and a little bit of money for that. Time counts more than money here, because it's not just the expensive products you use on your skin but actually, its about time you give for your face regime. Want to know more on that?
Well, as already hinted, skincare is a routine process which shouldn't be skipped for long. There are some steps which you should consider:

1. Cleanser

If the skin is not clean enough then all the other steps below would be ineffective. So, it's a really important step you should not skip. If your face has make-up on, then a single cleanse would not be enough. Its needed that you double cleanse. Double cleanse doesn't mean you do the same thing twice. Actually, first all those colors and chemicals should be removed. You can either use cleansing oil and a cotton pad to erase them manually, or use make-up remover sheets.
After either of the option, wash your face with a face wash foam. I'm here recommending face wash foam because it is really gentle to your skin. For the make-up removing part, start with the area if your face that has most of the make up on, i.e. the eye area, follow with cheeks, the t-zone and then, the rest of the face. If your skin on the eye area is sensitive and you want to be extra protective then, you can use make-up remover sheets specially made for removing eye make-up.
The second step in cleansing, i.e. washing; you should first start with oily to driest part of your face. That would be t-zone first and then cheeks for last.

2. Toner/Lotion

Call it a toner or lotion, this would be the next step after you wash your face. It helps to remove the residue dirt your face wash would have left. It also balances the skin PH and helps to reduce pores. Some toners will also help moisturize your skin. While applying you can use a cotton ball to lightly put it all over your face, or just use your hands and gently press it against your skin so that you'd feel the product going deep inside.

3. Essence/Serum

Serum/Essence goes deeper into the skin where even moisturizers cannot reach. Serums help reduce skin problems and imperfections.

4. Cream/Moisturizer

Cream or moisturizers help activate the serum. This helps your skin get extra moisturize it needs. Applying cream or moisturizers completes your daily skin care routine.

5. Exfoliate

Exfoliation removes the dirt from your skin that are deep inside. This really clears your skin and open up pores but this not something you should do regularly but about twice a week. Exfoliating is done after washing your face.

6. Face Masks

Your face needs hydration and extra moisture. Twice a week give your face a mask moisture. There are various masks in the market like serum masks, moisture masks. You can use any of them or as per your skin needs, or just use them both alternately.

7. Vitamin-E for Under your Eyes

This can't be skipped as those lines, those bags under your eyes are the most crucial ones. They are the prominent ones that show up because of tiredness, or sleeplessness and the most sensitive ones. Apply Vitamin-E creams regularly. You should be careful not to apply much pressure so just use your 4th finger or middle finger but be sure to be very gentle. You can just dab the both fingers gently while applying.

8. Natural remedies or Masks

Natural remedies are the best ones for your skin.
But as you can not always go natural because of the time consumed while preparing,
Its better to use natural supplements for the steps mentioned above but if its a bit hard on your time and preparations, just make sure you go with natural remedies twice or thrice a month. There are tonnes of methods over the internet for clearer skin, anti-aging, radiant skin or so. Try them sometimes in a month.

A good and healthy skin doesn't need expensive products but a good regime. The steps mentioned above should be followed for a healthy skin. Besides, this make sure you're drinking enough water. Drinking a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day is not just beneficial to your skin but also to your overall health.

Scenario: While in Facebook, you're about to market your page that is linked to your profile. You go to that page, but find some difference. You feel like it was just there the last time you opened it but can't find it now. Is that because you amended something on your page, or because the Facebook authorities have updated it 'coz they may be reviewing their marketing plan. Then you began to search the web for any solution to the problem you're facing. You get the solution but just get stuck on something. Yes, this is what happened to me. My post is to help you all bloggers and online marketers of Facebook who may face this kind of minor problem while managing your page through your profile.

Actually, I just created a Facebook page for my jewelry products and just couldn't locate the "Invite Friends" option in my profile which was otherwise there previously. My solution searches stated that I should be logged in to my personal page; and I did that. But no success. After numerous efforts, I just saw it there and just couldn't curse my ignorance enough. Sometimes you just can't help yourself. Well, if you're going through the same then let me help you on this.

How to Invite Friends to like your Facebook page?

1. First remember that you have to be logged in to your personal page as you're inviting friends from your list.

2. You should be on the homepage of your profile.

3. Locate the page you want to send invitations for, on the left of your page, i.e. usually where your preference pages are listed.

If your page is listed as preference site like mine, then it should be listed on the top left. However not, then it would still be on the left but may be somewhere below.

4. Open the page.

5. From the admin panel of the page go to "Invite Friends" and that will open a pop-up of your friends list. From their you can manually invited your Facebook friends to like the page.

Well, my blogging field is way different that what I'm writing about above. This is just for all of you who may be having a similar problem like the one I figured out. I hope this post helped you!

Threw myself in my desk for a day, 'coz lazy girl had to be productive today. :P After long, sat in my workshop to get these pretty creations out of me.

Jewelleries are always pretty and alluring for ladies of all ages. With the DIYs all over the web, no once could help but actually create some for their own. Plus, it can also prove to be a great gift. And if you are really good at it and want to sore new heights with jewellery making, it can also be a good source of income. For that you should want to be creative enough and dedicate extra time and money for it.

The techniques come with studies and practice, but designs come with playfulness. Playfulness with beads, with strings. And I love to play with them. If you too feel the same, then follow my beading success to learn more about beads and jewelries.

P.S. I'm now hopeful that I would stop being lazy and strive towards chasing my dream. Oh, how I love jewelleries..... and enjoy jewellery making..Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12007827649851414406noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7086224438794883112.post-7830695521990254862014-01-06T18:01:00.001-08:002014-05-21T00:26:07.372-07:00Knit plus crochet scarf with beads

I just finished knitting a scarf that I made as a gift for someone. It was a long time after I had my hands on, on knitting. May be after 6 years or so, I don't remember exactly anyways but yeah, after a very long gap. Well, my first knitting project for scarf so far. I had to face a major problem for this. The scarf began to curl on the edges. OMG! It was horrible. It was already 5 or 6 inches long and I had no idea how it can be undone. Well, found a solution at last and I could go on with my project without returning back. That was quite a relief! I will post the details later in another post. For now, here is the scarf that I've made.

Well, this includes knitting, crocheting around the edge and also on the hanging part of the scarf. I made a loop to make a tie-down kind of scarf. Also I put some beads on bangs. I think it looks cute. What's your opinion on this?

I know that it's every girls' problem. One cracked eye shadow can mess up your whole make up kit; and then your bag, your drawer, or just everywhere you put that thing on. I just had to deal with such one. I used to have a whole messy bag because of it. Whenever I tried to put any of the eye shadows, my fingers would get so messy and end up staining it everywhere. Though I knew I could fix it, I was really lazy regarding the steps and things needed. You know like alcohol, something to press them with and again you smash it with something and blah blah.. Well, had to do it anyways..
The lazy me wanted to try without smashing in into the powder. And voila! it was all good in few minutes. So, THE CONCLUSION-
1. JUST SPRAY SOME ALCOHOL(but don't make it too damp) AND
2. PRESS IT FOR ALMOST 30 SECONDS WITH A BALL OF TISSUE THAT IS THE SHAPE OF YOUR EYESHADOW (well, or just your FINGERS!).
YOUR EYESHADOW IS READY AFTER AN HOUR OR SO. As simple as that!!

I'm a kind of person who loves to wear something around the wrist, and wanted to make something for my own since long. Eventually, I saw the tutorial of a crochet bracelet and tried to make it right away. I already knew how to crochet, and all I needed was a crochet lace yarn and a needed for it. And there it came; a simple, yet pretty bracelet!

Tools: A crochet needle. (I used no.7 as it is the only one I have right now.)
Materials: A black crochet lace yarn. (I doubled the strings to give it a bolder look.)
A button for the clasp
Few beads
Process:
Follow the link for a detailed tutorial. The beads part is my own addition. Simply put a bead on each crochet point. Push the bead downward so that it won't look that shabby; plus, it also gives a nice petal effect.
Pinterest! How do u find it gals? Wonderland- isn't it? For me, yes!
Well I was just going through pinterest and this idea suddenly stuck my mind as what I want to do 3 years from now. Of course not that big ideas, but those small wants and desires you've always accumulated within, or should I say, accumulated in Pinterest! No wonder pinterest has given us, or say at least most like me, a wing to fly on and dream on. And no wonder my pinterest is like a dreamland for me. With years and years passing I've assembled so much pins and I hope those are not just going in vain. They are there because I've planned things as such. Some desires, some wants, some experiments! Thank you pinterest for giving these! And well now, out of my pinterest list I'm just sorting out my most desirables that I want to achieve 3 years from now. Hope it matches with you people as well.

Whether you don't want to spend bucks in an expensive phone case rather than a plain one, or your present case is going through its late phase ;), you can simply give it a new look that's unique and stylish and can be called your own.

Here's what you need and how to do it.

What you need-

A phone case of course (old or simple, or both)

A nail polish or two

How to do-
Simply paint the phone case on the outside. You may need to do two coats.
For mine, I painted 2 coats of pink and then finally 1 coat of shimmery silver. And tadaah! the look it gave was quite appreciative. It felt like i got a new case with almost no cost.

The base coat I used was a little think so it didn't give a smooth finish though. But it proved a good design anyways. Isn't my phone shining as heaven? ;)

D.I.Y.- I was encountered to this word some years ago but did not know that it was already viral over the internet. I used to create stuffs before as well but only the word was new to me then. DIYs are always so fun to do. What's exciting is that you can create your own new stuffs out of something else; can change an old and discarded piece of dress to a new fashionable one; tie scraps and wires together to make creative ornaments; invoke a unique piece of furniture out of a chucked out wood. Wow!The imaginations are just endless. They are D.I.Y.s. C'mon people bring the creativity outside. Play with it!

When I think about it now, I feel that I was more creative as a child. At those times there was no such things as surfing DIYs over the internet or any supplies; but still I used to keep doing things as I liked. I liked to sew and make tiny little things for my doll, even made a doll house with compartments, personal bed for my doll LOLz... I even remember making paper dolls with multiple outfits through paper and changing them time and again for my paper dolly. I remember making paper doll was a bit of a fashion in our class back then when I was about 8 or 9 years old.

Those were the days and these are the days now. Though I surf hundreds of DIYs over the internet, I can't make time to make them. Or should I say I've grown much lazy over these years.
Better said than done, I'll soon upload some of my old DIYs. Oh.. I'm excited already!

Yes, definitely. But one may question, why to waste time and money into something that is unlikely to use by oneself? Well, it's a wrong thought howsoever.

Learning a language doesn't only mean for a private tuition class and devoting your whole time into that single thing. It's a gradual process and in the long-run you will feel good about what you've achieved, like me! :D

I want to share my story related to the same subject here. Well, one of my friend happened to join a Language School for German Language and she also approached me to come along. As it was a morning class, I too wanted to give it a go, thinking it will give 'the lazy bird- ME'', a reason to catch the early worm. :P However I did not have much interest over German, so, I opted for a Korean Language class instead. Reasons were that- I already liked the language with those vast amount of time I invested in watching Korean movies and dramas. I gave it a try, studied it for 2 years and graduated! Well again, I had to take up another language class for Japanese to shift with my husband in Japan. This one happened in a bit hassle so I had to take private tuition classes. Yes, when you study more that one language at a time, you end of scratching your head and get confused all over. Nevertheless, there was no regret whatsoever. I always feel good when I think that I know a vast choices of Language. ;)

1. <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Its actually fun!
The process of learning a new language is
exciting, first of all. If you are in a place where there are people
of different countries, then it adds up a little fun in speaking the
languages you've learned. Plus, interacting with different people enriches your friend circle as well.

2. <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Adds up value to your resume
Adding some extra language beside your native language also adds value to your resume. Well, say if you have same qualities compared to others in a same job candidacy then only your one extra language can grab your the job. Isn't this a bonus?

3. <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Broadens the employment opportunities
As we can see, there are numerous job opportunities for a person with an extra language quality such as Translator, or Teacher for foreign language, Travel Guide. It widens your job search ar
ea.

4. <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">That can be your code language
It's always fun to have a code
language. That code language could be anything of your own. I remember
my Aunts using language of their own that was very hard to understand or
should say, a bit tricky. A foreign language can be used instead. It
helps when you want to have conversation that you don't want the third
person to understand. But of course, provided that the second person
also knows the language.

5. <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Provides study abroad opportunities
I guess most of the countries has this opportunity; like, when you take up a certain language and excel in the same you get to graduate in language from that very same country. Don't you think this is a 'go-getter'. Well, I too tried my hands on this one but, its shameful that I lacked behind. ;) Leaning language is interesting; but a bit hard isn't it? :P

Well, why not start to learn a new language from today. It just requires a bit to your manageable time. And I bet it costs a way too little than what you will achieve. Join a language college, or if not, there are tones of classes over the internet. They won't even cost you, bingo!

I am a bit lazy kind of personal to keep a journal for each passing day. But there are times when I really want to write, and when I write, I write it long.. ;)
Those are the times when I feel angry, or frustrated that I sit to write down to keep my all frustrations out. But as you see it, keeping happy moments saved in a diary seems much better, right?
Yes, and today was such a time. These are these special moments, not a long one. Though short, it helped to make an impact. At this particular time, when I'm going through such a rough phase (sorry, no description though) in my life, this small hint of joy definitely managed to light up my mood.
There was this thing when I was talking to a friend. I was really feeling good to talk after a long time and about the things we were talking about I suddenly said that I just wanted to cry. 'Why?' was the obvious question but actually I too did not know what the answer was. Then that friend suddenly popped the below text to me:

were about to loose;
Yes, this was a short line that I wrote a couple of years back, and that also made its way to my facebook wall, liked by many but a long-forgotten one. When it suddenly got exposed to me today, it felt so good. I was reading one of my creation and that also in such a situation it fitted so much. Actually I'm not that poem kind of person but sometimes, like, once in a blue moon I do write, you know it, when sentiments get stuck in your mind and all. Anyways, it really felt good to read it after so long. The poem felt so true to me, I was proud of myself. Happy Happy!! :D
First work with your inner self, and spread it to your surrounding- As they say, 'Charity begins at home', home implies to your inner self and charity is spreading happiness; well, as far as this blog is concerned. You actually can't make others happy if you are not happy enough.

Yes, following your dream comes in the forefront in this context, but before that there are certain things we also should consider foremost, that we often come to ignore in the long run.

1. Allocate some time for yourself
Being sociable and making time for others is virtuous; but it is equally important that you allocate some time for yourself. Assign a day once a week, well, if not possible then a half day.
This is the time to work with your hobbies and most of the things that interest you. May be you want to watch a movie, or go shopping, or take a drive (you may include others as well but let that day be totally yours). It will make you satisfied from within and you are not the person who wants to regret about your life later.

2. Stay alone for at least 10 mins. of your daily routine
May be you’re too busy with your business and your ménage that you cannot think anything else, but just keep all the daily chaos aside and stay alone, or meditate for a while. What it does is, it makes you realize what is important to you or lets you focus on your goals and priorities. Maybe there are things that you have to work on, or maybe you need to remember some important things. Keep track of these things and think about necessary resolutions.
Likewise, you can also rewind how your day passed. Work on your mistakes, if any; and smile for the good things that you did on that day. You can summarize your day within these 10 mins.

3. Always keep a pen and a notebook, handy
Yes, this is the generation for tablets, laptops or, smart phones; but notebook and pen also haven’t yet lost their influence. Keeping your notebook and a pen handy is always a good idea to quickly jot down the thoughts or anything substantial you across path with.

4. Writing a diary is a good habit
A diary is your life book. It may sound childish to some but believe me, you will feel good when you come across it, years later. Read it when you get old and you'll feel you're living your past life again. It acts as a movie based in your life. C'mon! explore the writer in you. You don't have to write like a professional but simply write! When you make it a habit, your writing also does improve. Bingo!

5. The Art of Multi-tasking
It’s not that you’ve to force yourself for multi-tasking, but, just give it a try and you can succeed over it slowly. The reason I’m emphasizing on multi-tasking is because it helps to improve your skill and your intelligence. And this also works best for people who’re too engaged in their work.

6. Read Inspirational blogs
Learn from others experiences, if not yours!
There are hundreds of blogs over the internet. Most of them are based on writers’ personal experiences. These kind of blogs let you learn many things, and motivate you. Well, you don’t have to take everything personally but learn and take only the things that you think can flourish positive changes within you.

7. Health is Wealth!
Health is related to the functioning of your body. Whatever you do, whatever you think is all part of your body functions. Simply take care of your physical well-being, so that you can take care of other things in your life. Most people neglect their health, to fulfill other materialistic wishes. Yes, this is a human behavior.. But without health, all the achievements, happiness and wealth can only be compared with ashes. Truly!

P.S. Love yourself first; so that you can love others (but it doesn’t mean you’ve to be selfish!) because, he, who is happy and satisfied can spread the same to his surroundings.

"Falling Slowly"- I so.. love this song! Simply a soft and touching number written and performed by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová. This song appeared in their 2006 movie- 'ONCE', from which it won the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 80th Oscars.

This song also appeared in their 2006 album- The Swell Season and also in the album- The Cost by The Frames (Hansard's band).
Fashion actually is not about "what's in" in the market but actually about what you prefer to wear that makes you comfortable and flattering. Fashion is not about following others but about following your own instincts on what you want to wear that particular day or on that particular function.
If you want to be a fashionista, then you should first be able to carry yourself on whatever you wear and walk around flauntingly. Well, this is what I guess fashion is about.
Below, I've complied some tips on following your instincts on your summer clothing. These are just tips but you rather do whatever you feel comfortable in or whatever you can think you can carry.
Summer is all about showing your skin ( but make sure you're using the best sunblock to protect your skin from the UV rays). Wear sleeveless or wear shorts. Bare those parts which you think are your best. Like, if you have flirting legs, wear shorts; if you have slim hands, wear sleeveless.Be at your best all the time, 'coz you never know who you may come across with! ;) as they also say, "Always dress like you're going to see your worst enemy!"

Love!

Have been wondering about it lately...Yes, I got the answer now. The only answer to it can be: One can never define love literally. Neither one can define love with words; nor one can make sure that it'll stay forever. The later is truly dictated for what I've felt till now. Perception may change for others, right?

The reason, for my thought on love may be because I just come to conclusions too soon. Whenever I feel like butterflies in my stomach, or a chill rushing when talking to that particular person or the pain when missing him; I've always mistaken these feeling for love. Till the person is there, these feelings what I call "love" stays there. When he's gone, that feeling still roots up your heart.

You keep missing the person with a strong desire that he would return because you still feel the same love for him. And Bang! the other person enters. Every other person can't make you feel the same but some; yes, they can make you feel more that what you've felt for the person you've loved (mark the words: " you've loved")...
Yes, it has changed! Now you start feeling... I haven't loved anyone like this before... The problem is you feel the same commitment and dedication (from your side) for whoever enters your life. What do you call this? Well, Infatuation may be a cheap thing to define this... or is it really the one without definitions??
I never got an answer and confusions always hurls around..!

Its high time that I wanted to create a blog that would be focused on DIYs and Inspiration that I go through in my life which may be useful to all the viewers as well.
As a teenager, I was not much into these stuffs; DIYs yes..but other girly stuffs like fashion, accessories and all was like "why do you need that for?" for me... but as of now, I feel like I've turned 17 again.... [aah.. correction needed, i think it's only now that I've turned 17 ;) ] Well, better late that never right?? ^_^

My blog may be focused with "my journal" thing.. but with this I'd like to share my thoughts and experience with you all. Things could be about shopping, DIYs, music, movies, and the list goes on...

Also if you want to subscribe for a newsletter, just send me your e-mail address. I'll surely follow them.
